I will always remember Papa John as being quick to laugh (with a honk) and having all of the patience in the world to play cards with the kids for hours on end. John was a special friend and colleague. We met on the MSHCSP Board of Directors in the 80s This picture is after a lunch meeting with other Board members.. John, Mary Ellen , myself, and Stephen while we were at a conference in Phoenix.. John made us all laugh that day in 2019. He was a special guy to all of us.
