Not sure what to say?

Uncle Johnny, this year you have my Momma with you, your sister. So John and Betty Mace have the kids with them. I Love you Uncle Johnny and always remember you and all your family!!! Your loving niece, Debbie and family.

I worked with John in the Department of Labor office in Newark. I marveled at the spirit of the man who made the grueling daily trip from Endicott to Newark and yet walked into the office with a huge smile on his face as though he had just sauntered in from down the street. Despite the pleas of his coworkers, and sometimes Pat, John would not stay locally - it was that important for him to be back with his family each night. That was John's character - devoted, caring, thinking of others...

It was my pleasure to have worked with John when he was assigned to the Newark, NY employment office. We had many great conversations. I remember that he drove to Newark each day from Endicott in his VW diesel. He was very good at his job. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

A little update... Instead of donating on a spay , Momma , Nikki, Courtney and I decided to help a Pyrs puppy , that has been rescued by LONESTAR PYRS AND PAWS NORTH.. He was badly beaten and has to have er surgery to life.. We we saw Little Blizzard and Uncle Johnny's kindness spoke to us to help him, instead of flowers.. We all know he is smiling and paw praying for a full recovery on this little guy, and a future adoption!!!! :D

We were so sad to hear of John's passing. Condolences to Patti and family. He was a special soul who shared our passion for dog rescue. John always had a kind word and a smile on his face whenever we got the chance to see him. He will be missed.

It was a pleasure to know and work with John at NYSDOL for many years. He was a good man both in and out of the office.

John's grace will be missed by many. He was a very supportive man that would do anything for anyone. When you had a conversation with John, he always made you feel like you had his full attention and support. We will always have a special place in our hearts for John.

John was a good guy. I enjoyed walking the dogs and talking with him when our paths would cross at the park. I adopted Chuck, a dog he recently rescued, this past week. My other dog Jack and I both like Chuck, and we will make sure he continues to have the kind of life John would have wanted for him.

I met John at the dog park and was so touched by his gentle spirit and love for the Lord. Just a few weeks ago he shared how one of his rescues was a gift from God that came at a time he needed it most. He will be missed.
