Jack was the best. As a teacher at the Wheelock School, he made me smile for so many years. He always reminded me of grandfather with his feistiness, warmth and sense of humor. One of my favorite memories is celebrating his 70th birthday taking a bus to Foxwoods with all of the teachers. Thinking of Jack's entire family as I'm sure he is so loved.

I have worked at the Ralph Wheelock School for 28 years. I have such fond memories of Jack. He constantly left his Dunkin Donuts coffee cup somewhere in the building. He always had a smile and quip for someone in the hallway. Best of all, we had a HUGE celebration for his 70th birthday with 70 balloons, tee shirts we made, scratch tickets hidden in coffee cups around the school, and a huge school wide assembly. We also went to Foxwoods on a bus for his retirement party. He was a treasured...

So Sorry to hear about Mr.MacPherson.. He was a great man and I know how much he will be missed by his family! Love Patty Lincoln
