Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I wish we could attend the service but ya'll are in our prayers daily. Johnny was my second cousin(his mother is/was a Herring) and enjoyed visiting every May in Jasper at the Herring reunion. He was the epitome of "Southern Gentleman" and will be missed dearly.

I want you to know that your family in Texas sends prayers to all of your family and we sincerely regret that we could not all make it to the funeral. Cousin Johnny was my 2nd cousin.
