Uncle (Cousin) Bud had such an open heart. His legacy is truly his family. He welcomed my husband into the fold as if he'd known him forever. What a gift he was to all of us. I remember growing up and if anything needed repair in our house Mom would get on the phone and soon the old wood-paneled station wagon would be in the driveway and Uncle Bud and a kid or two would jump out.
