Not sure what to say?

Just saw this....my condolences to his family. I work for John at Software AG in Reston, VA in the 1980's. We had a superb working relationship, he was like a father to me. We hit it off immediately. He was very proud of his family. He was one of the finest individuals I have ever work for and with, in my own career. Every day was a learning experience. I cannot express how passionate he was about everyone else around him. He had a keen sense of whit and humor. I am proud to say I really...

John will always remain with us in our hearts and minds. A truly good and thoughtful man. A pleasure to work for and with. I'll cherish the memories. Rest in peace john

God bless uncle John,
With out aunt Ann and uncle Johns generosity I would never had the opportunity to attend college.
So glamourous worldly dashing and intelligent. He and aunt Ann seemed like movie stars to me.
I will miss him greatly. I am very sorry that I didn't see him before he passed

He certainly lived an extraordinary life. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jackie ~ While I never met you, I feel as though I knew you through Carissa's stories and the articles you sent her. You will be dearly missed by your loving family, to whom I send my prayers.

Grandma and Jackie November 2012

Two weeks since Jackie's passing and I am picturing him smiling down at all of us from heaven. He was the kind of granddad that lectured me on wearing eyeliner to do work because that just wasn't important, always wore a bright green blazer on St. Paddy's Day and just happened to be the best darn storyteller I've ever known. I am thankful and blessed to have known and loved him. I will miss him dearly, but think of him often in the life lessons he passed on, as well as some of the quirks,...

Dear Ann and family - I am deeply saddened and surprised by John's death. I knew something was wrong when my emails went unanswered. I have so many fond memories of John at work (stopping to visit everyone, movie camera, metal lunchbox, Serbien Crown, Innisbrook User Conference, driving his Mercedes to the airport, letting John know how much money came in so we could make payroll, fantastic Christmas parties, his generosity and how very much he cared for all his employees), at home, on the...
