Not sure what to say?

Dear Bette and family,
I have great memories of participating in East Lyme Arts Council performances with John back in the '70's. Those were great times! He had such a great spirit and a big heart as well as his beautiful voice. I am sure that those attributes have been carried on by his children and grandchildren. I will always remember the Mahon family as one of the good old families that helped make East Lyme a great place to grow up in. Thinking of you all and hoping you are holding...

My family and I are thinking of you and yours, with condolences and gratitude for a life well-lived. Your family always seemed to have plenty of love to go around. A special note to you, Bryan, as I know you a bit better than the others through youth group. "We are one in the Spirit," as our group theme song used to say, and your dad will still be with each of you in the most important moments. Take heart, and take care of each other. Love, Sue and Pete Lamb

I loved John's voice and personality! He was always so complimentary and sweet! I will really miss him so much at church and he was so kind to have us all over one night for one of the committee parties! Bette my prayers and thoughts are with you. loved him....

Dear Bette and family,
So sad to hear this news. Know that I am praying hard for you all. Wish I lived closer to be able to be with you. Such happy memories we have, but feeling very sad. Much love.....Pat

Mrs Mahon, Jon, Makaila, Bryan, Scott and family,
We are so sorry for your heartbreaking loss. Please know we are all thinking of you and praying for comfort and peace in your memories. Jon, give Smitty a call for laughs as always when you need it. We love you. Chris (Smitty), Donna, Dylan, Logan, Ryan xoxoxo

I knew John primarily through our attending the Adult Sunday School at the Niantic Community Church. As a relatively new member of the church, John was so welcoming and kind to me. He was a true gentleman and a man of great experience and intellect. I will miss his big warm smile and insightful thoughts each Sunday. My sympathies and prayers go out to the Mahon family.

Oh, Bette and family, so sad to hear this news, my love and prayers I am sending to to you. I go to bed now with happy memories but with a heavy heart. I love you.
