Not sure what to say?

Dr. John. F. Mahoney was a very knowledgeable, caring, patient neurologist, who never gave up on a difficult case. I had the pleasure of knowing John for 38 years. May he rest in peace.

Thanks to Dr. Mahoney's skill and knowledge I was able to function normally for almost 10 years without the use of pain medication. As a result of that when the time (unfortunately) came that I could no longer walk without surgery
I had 10 years of excellent care that got me through.
Over the years we would become more friends than Dr. and Pt. and he would go on to help !y family through the loss of my father at the Carney where he consulted is as a.friend of the family and later...

Celine,
I was so sad to hear of John's sudden passing, he was one of a kind, his like we will never see again. I was a patient of his since 1993, not only was he my Doctor, he was also friend and confidant who helped me through many difficult times.
"Slan agus beannacht mo chara."

The world has lost such a brillant, kind, caring, knowledgeable and sometimes funny man. It took me 30 years to finally find a doctor that didnt make me feel like just another file. I knew from the moment I met him that he truly cared and was there to help. I only wish I found him sooner then 6 months ago. Sending family friends coworkers and patients my sincerest condolences. John protected many firefighters from lay offs by keeping them on medical leave. It was a balancing act but he never wavered. He was also my neurologist for a time. After a fruitless work up with a surgical colleague at Carney , which frustrated him as much as it did me, he referred me to the neurosurgeon who took care of his...

Dear Celine and Family we are all saddened by the passing of John. His absence will be felt by so many in so many way. As a husband, father, grandfather, friend, and physician. He was such an important person to so many.

Mrs Mahoney and family please accept-my sincere condolences on your loss. I always drove my Mother
to her appointments with Dr Mahoney who was always very kind and generous to me and interested in my well being.

If it wasn't for him I'm positive my mom:'s condition would never have received the excellent care which she needed and the good Doctor provided her. May the Good Lord take care of him and watch over you and your family

Dear Celine, my deepest sympathies to you and your family. Your husband/father was the kind of person who could turn someone's day around, that's a special kind of talent from a doctor. He kindness, thoroughness, sense of humor and that smile set him apart from everyone. He was simply the best and will be greatly missed by so many. My life started to improve the day he became my doctor. Thinking of and praying for you and your family in this difficult time.
