I was so sad to learn of John's passing. He lived around the corner from me in Palmer and we used to walk to Mrs. Odneal's kindergarten together when we were five. We both went to Park Street School, and he was on my brother's little league team. We lost touch when he went to Monson Academy and I to Palmer High, but I remember him fondly. With sorrow.

Another dear friend is no longer part of my life. I first met John in 1965. He greeted me as I arrived to service his IBM computer at American Standard. The friendship just grew stronger from that day forward. It was always a pleasure to be called to the accounts where John was the MIS Director.
