Such sadness to learn that Rev. Manier had passed, but a blessing to know there would be no more sickness, no more pain.He has reached that journey he started out on years ago- He's home. 15 years ago my husband to be and myself were counsled by Rev Zanders at Mt. Olive AME and I so wanted Rev Mainer to perform the ceremony. He stated that because it was Rev Zanders church it was right for him to perform the ceremony. We went along with his decison.

Our relationship was a bond that no one could break. We had our ups and downs, but our love was stronger than words. It's hard to not call your phone or anticipate a call from you just to say hello. My heart is still very heavy with a longing to hear your voice. I pray that I gain more strength with dealing with your fleshly presence not being here with us anymore. To know him was to gain much spiritual wisdom and knowledge. Wow, how (10) years ago,when we first met, seem like yesterday. We've had many long talks, yet each one ended with him saying,"Young lady, always study the book of Proverbs."
