Not sure what to say?

John and I met at the Russian River dance in CA! He wrote the best letters to me during University of Oregon at Eugene. When he came home (Corte Madera, CA), he took me to the Rose Bowl dance in Larkspur. A terrific dancer! And...silly it sounds...but I remember his nice hunter green sweater! He talked of taking me on his brother's sailboat yet it wasn't meant to be. But all those newsy letters...his family appreciation (I can even recall his Mom in the kitchen of Corte Madera!) Crazy? Not!...

ohn was a dear, dear person. He was most kind and supportive. John stayed connected and expressed his appreciation for Sophias first educational experiences. throughout the many years. I extend my heartfelt condolences to Sophia and his family.

Professor Makemson was an amazing professor who truly made an impact on my educational and professional life. He took the time to get to know his students. I frequently visited his office hours not just for assignment help, but to also seek advice and he was a great ear. He will truly be missed.

Safe journey, arkadas

Heartfelt condolences for John's family and friends.
John was one of my late brother Joe's best friends from the Class of 1960 in Ankara, Turkey. I am sad to learn he is gone, but he will be fondly remembered.

My condolence to the family, our heavenly father has promised we will see our loved ones again. (Act 24:15)

It was such an honor to know John and share many fun times with him and his daughter Sophia. My mother, Clara, was also very fond of John and treasured our many dinners and conversations at his home. He will be sorely missed.
