Jack was my District Manager when I was a paper boy for the Daily News. He was a mentor to all of the paperboys in the Forest Park neighborhood. I remember him starting a softball team for us and we played against other District Offices in Western Mass. When we ended up winning, he bought us all jackets for being "Western Mass. Champs".
