Not sure what to say?

I was his student in Louisiana at Northwestern State College in 1969-1970. Enjoyed every lesson! He often talked of "little Johnny". He kept his violin in a bank vault.

Leon and I are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Dr. Maltese. I was privileged to have been your student. Be invited to your home. I knew you were a very special man. You touched countless lives. May God rest your soul...

John was always full of joy--ready with a hug, a smile, and a joke. He brought so much affection, happiness, and wisdom to all of us who were blessed to be his friends and students. May you be comforted, Anna and John, knowing how much John gave to the world. What he shared will endure.

He will always be a part of my life, which is so much richer for having known him.

This man was and will always be remembered as "... a little bit of Heaven..."
