Not sure what to say?

Rip, in my eyes, you were always a rich man.

To my Master Teacher from San Marcos HS 1989, I thank you for helping shape my teaching career and reminding me to have the students do the work! We were polar opposites on political ideology but always laughed together and I appreciate all the great lessons and inspiration you gave me. Your passion and wit with the students was contagious and helped so many young people learn to think! You left us way too soon. Thank you and God Bless.

I had the privilege of officiating many football games with Rip. I found him to be athletic, intelligent and friendly and one of the best football officials in San Diego. Football officiating in San Diego is better because of Rip.

I always loved hearing you explain the news to me and plots of movies.  You gave hearty hugs and let me...
