Not sure what to say?

John as I called him was my stepdad for awhile. He was the most kindest, gentlest guy. He lived his life trying to make other´s life´s better. I want to think that as a philanthropist he was the reason I chose this path. John was a huge influence in my life and I´m sorry to heart of his passing .

Dear family and friends of John. While we did not know John personally he sounds like a loving, sweet, and extremely talented man who will be sadly missed. We understand how it feels to lose such a special loved one. Please accept our sincere condolences. Darlene Horsfield and staff of HPMS, Inc. The Therapy Connection

Dear Donna. I am so so sad to read of John's passing. I hope he didn't struggle. John was a sweet, kind, thoughtful, generous, and good good man. And he adored you. I'm sending you my thoughts. Take care of yourself. Vicki Honeyman

As a physical therapist, I worked at the WISD for 30 years. In pursuing services for our students with severe physical and cognitive impairments, I spent many hours working with our friends at Danmar. Jack was a great partner in these efforts - kind, creative, caring, brilliant. Thank you, Jack!

Jack and Marcy on the 100 mile Belle Isle Bikeathon in Detroit c. 1978 to promote the Bummer bicycle seat. It was a rainy day but that didn’t dampen our spirits for a fun outing. Of course anything that involved marketing, research, and design was a fun adventure for my Dad. Don, Dave and Doreen were also along on this one - an usual opportunity to mix family and business. I am forever grateful to my father for so many things, including the joy of riding bicycles.

I am so very sorry to learn of Jacks passing, it was a shock - I always think of Jack outliving us all. In my 17 years at Danmar, we shared so many conversations on everything from designing adaptive equipment (he was always attentive and kind to my feeble suggestions), having wonderful discussions on the innovations in sports equipment in every sport. I loved his dry humor and immense love of life and energy. He will remain...
