To the Marchi Family
Our deepest sympathy to the family of Senator Marchi. He will always be remembered as an honest, open and genuine person. The Marchi's were the very first family to welcome us when we moved to Ward Avenue. My sons learned to play basketball at Good Counsel with his nephews, Nando's sons. I worked as a Community Liaison for Senator Marchi. He was always able and willing "to reach across the aisle" with sincerity and good will.

Dear Maria Luisa and family, my deepest sympathies to you and your family. We have lost the "best of the best". Senator Marchi, is one of the most honest, down to earth politicians of our time. To Maria Luisa, Joan, Aline & family:

To those of us who knew the Marchis of Lawrence Avenue, the unpretentiousness, love, integrity and kindness of your entire family will never be forgotten. John's connection to my family from both Manhattan College (with my father) and Lawrence Avenue - plus many years afterwards, was just a primer for the many years of great memories that would ensue.....Many of us have stories of a man willing to help and of delivering that help! Kudos to...

To the Marchi Family,

He smiled at me, thanked me and Invited me to come to Marchi's restaurant for a free dinner, which I never had the pleasure to enjoy, but I guess that says alot about a man who can receive but also wants to give...
