Dear Terry and family,
I was so sorry and shocked to see the news on the Covenant web page that John had died. I have so enjoyed the times I spent talking with him at Midwinters and Annual Meetings, and especially a few years ago during Midwinter when I and some other seminary friends who knew him from Immanuel Covenant all had dinner over at Hilltop. You very rightly included in his obituary that he was an encouragement to other seminarians and young pastors, as he was an encourager to...

John was nice man he helped to get on the net. So I enjoy the both of my computes. I miss him

EACH OF YOU HAVE MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY. PASTOR JOHN WAS A WONDERFUL MAN AND HE WILL SORELY BE MISSED. BUT MY "WHAT A LEGACY" HE LEAVES BEHIND. HE WAS ALWAYS NEARBY TO HELP, WHEN SOMETHING WENT WRONG UP AT MRS. STRAHMAN'S HOUSE, EVEN IN THE DEAD OF WINTER.
REMEMBER, "EARTH HAS NO SORROW THAT HEAVEN CAN NOT HEAL".

I HAVE KNOWN PASTOR JOHN FOR AS LONG AS HE'S BEEN MINISTERING AT TRINITY. I'VE ENJOYED HIS SERMONS SO MUCH. HE WAS A WONDERFUL MAN AS WELL AS A PASTOR. I WILL NEVER FORGET THE CONVERSATION WE HAD AFTER THE LAST SUNDAY THAT HE PREACHED SERVICES AT TRINITY. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL SERMON. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

I will miss Pastor John, his wise sermons and kindness. He was always a help when I was near in Livingston or far away in Florida. My thoughts and prayers are with Terry and her family.

The loss of Rev. Marks will touch all those who knew him and his kind gentle spirit and insightful leadership. Our prayers go out his family whom he loved so dearly.
Partnerships for People has lost a dear friend we will miss him very much.

Pastor John lived for Christ and showed us all what it meant to be a follower of Jesus. He is knit into our lives and we will not forget him.

Pastor John was a very good man and friend. He loved God, and he especially loved children. We will always miss him for the man that he is, and his love for his family. We pray that Terry, Jennifer, Peter, Partick and Kristy will be comforted knowing how much Pastor John was loved by so many people.
