Not sure what to say?

John and I partnered in ReWorks Designs in Galveston to restore the Galveston County Park Pavilion, an "Alamo in Front" wood building in back that was his first restoration. Tricia was a beautiful enchantress he was mesmerized by.

Tricia,

I am so saddened to hear of John's death. We went back a looong way. God be with you.

Dear Tricia & Leila, I want to let you know how sorry I am to read about John's passing this afternoon.
I was just thinking about visiting last week as I was in the area but It was getting late & I didn't.
I am wondering now if It was on the same day.
I want both of you to know that I had alot of respect for John as he showed me the same.
I met John about 12 years ago when I was really down & art was my escape.
I Thank God to John & you for giving me the time to heal...

John Maroney will be sadly missed by family and friends and literally hundreds of young people that he mentored. His legacy of selfless giving to enrich the lives and hopes of at-risk young people and his commitment to community-building will never be forgotten.
