John O. "Jack" Marsh Jr.

My Father A.Raymon Thacker was the Mayor of Scottsville Virginia from 1966 to 1996. Jack and my father became close friends working on the Scottsville flood control project. Jack was so helpful to the preservation of the town of Scottsville. We really appreciate all he did for our community. My father passed in 2016 at 106 years old. His memory was like a steel trap and could even remember conversations he had with Jack and others that helped him through the years. RIP Jack you left big...

Sincere and heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your father. He was a gentleman and a true American patriot. He will always be respected and honored for his legacy of contributions to our Army and special operations forces. He set the example for love of family and our country.

I remember Mr.Marsh as a really nice man and saw him and Ann when they lived in Strasburg. My friend babysit his kids and I got to know him then around 1957. We need more like Mr Jack.

I remember jack when i worked for the pentagon army motor pool i picked him up an a general and took them over to Mount Vernon(George Washington home)that they where planning for a event.
