Not sure what to say?

Mr. Marsh was a regular at the Kalamazoo Public Library's Local History Archive. He was always patient, goodnatured and kind when requesting that we dig through our resources to find the answers to his questions. I'm glad that over the course of the last five years, I had the opportunity to discuss local history with him. He will be missed.

I grew up on Thrushwood (Dick and Marilyn Yonke's daughter, Sue) and I remember that whenever I would walk or ride my bike past your house your Dad would always wave and say Hello. He was such a nice man and I know my parents thought a lot of him. My Dad also knew him from working at Upjohn. I am so very sorry for your loss but also glad that your Dad had such a nice long retirement. Keep him alive in your memories. My deepest sympathies. Sue (Yonke) Lovely

We enjoyed the times John came to visit us at the Zhang Legacy Collections Center working on all the various research projects he had over the years. We will miss him.

So sorry to hear about the loss of John. He is my cousin, and we have stayed in touch for many years I actually last talked to him just before Christmas. Your family has my sympathy and my prayers.

I have known John since Milwood school and we have stayed in touch all these years. We just talked several weeks ago. Great guy and good friend.

Sending deepest sympathy on the passing of Mr. Marsh. I have enjoyed delivering his mail since April 2014. He was always kind to me & always had a smile on his face. I will miss him.

My Tuesday mornings at Uncle Ernie´s won´t be the same. You will definitely be missed and it was nice to hear your morning greeting each time I unlocked that door. It was a pleasure to meet you. My deepest sympathies to your family.
