Not sure what to say?

John touched my life in many blessed ways. He was always ready to cheer up someone if anyone was ever down. I am so sorry if he suffered any pain, but he is with GOD now. I will always hold John close in my heart, he was a good and and I will miss him.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who signed the guest book. Your thoughts on John and his impact on your lives has brought home, once again, how very special he was. The love that surrounds him makes me realize that he will never be forgotten. John and I truly believed that we were soulmates, and I know that he will watch over me -- and all of you, as well -- from his special place in the hereafter.

John and I enjoyed each other's company during our days at Creighton UMC. Never at a loss for subject matter, we had great discussions about music, electric trains, movies and projectors, and, of course, his cat. John's sense of humor spiced all of our conversations. Although I hadn't spoken with John over the last couple of years, he was never far from my thoughts.

I never had any trouble remembering John's birthday. He sometimes referred to himself as John 3:16, linking his...

John was so special. He made so many people at Creighton laugh -- and that is a rare gift. He knew so much, how to be litergist, how
to play guitar, piano and organ and
he also knew how to make good coffee. We looked forward to when John would bring in his white fur
collar (his cat). Eleanor, you have my sympathy....you two were made for each other and you came into his life at just the right moment. God bless you and the family. Luv, Lila

I am thankful for all the words and good thoughts that have been posted. I will always remember my father and what he has taught me. I appreciate everyone's support for our family during this time.

John and Eleanor were truly soul-mates. We never saw John so happy until Eleanor came into his life. John will be missed by us as we remember fondly the good times we had. John and I worked for the same church for quite a while. Both he and I grew up in Phoenix at the same time and had many similar fond memories. Our paths might have crossed, but didn't. Bless you, Eleanor for all you brought into his life. And may God continue to bless John in his new life.

Although I had not known John and Eleanor for very long, they both became very dear to me and very close to my heart. I used to do a lot of traveling and Eleanor used to tell me that once John heard the shuttle drop me off at home, he would tell her that now he could go to sleep knowing that I was home safe and sound. John was a very special man -- one that you just don't find any more. John -- you will be missed.

John was known for being my Uncle, and I as his niece. I still remeber the moments that we shared before the age of fourteen. Like for instence, Easter egging hunting at this house, and Christmas memories too. He whould play this gutiar like no one else I knew during Christmas Eve. His role that he give for free was his smilies . His smilies were always nice to recive. Its been quite awile since I seen him, because of him being sick for a while. I never got to say my last words to him, but I...

John and I shared many laughs, and I have good memories of him. My sympathy to Eleanor and family.
