Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry to hear of John's death.
I would see him occassionally in LBTF. He often talked about taking Kevin to baseball games when Kevin was young. He said Kevin knew all the players batting average. I enjoyed visiting with John and listening to his tales.
John was a good company man plus he was a good man. The shipyard misses John also.

May God's Love surround John's family during this time of sorrow.
John hired me in late 1977 with a promise from me to learn how to play softball. I never did. He did love his sports. I have always respected John even though we butted heads, at times. I am thankful for all that he taught me. He was my early shipyard mentor and I am proud of where that took me. My friend, John I will surely miss you. Love, Rebecca

So sorry to hear of John's passing. I worked with him at the LBTF building and after retiring visited with him at the Pascagoula Library. He will be remembered and missed for many different reasons. It is sad to loose a friend.

Although I was aware of John's illness for some time,it is always a suprise to recieve the "news'.My sincere condolences and my prayers go to else as well as the whole family.

Our deepest sympathy to the Martin Family.
