John Patrick Martino

John Patrick Martino, 88, of Glen Ridge, N.J., passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at West Caldwell Care Center. Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 12, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Paul Ippolito Memorial, 252-256 Henry Street, Orange, N.J. 07050. John was born in Orange, N.J. and lived in East Orange, N.J. before moving to Glen Ridge, 50 years ago. He was a special education teacher for East Orange High School. John served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was the beloved husband of Amelia (nee Bavaro) and loving father of Teresa Manning, James Martino and his wife, Nancy, and John Martino Jr. He is also survived by a grandson, Matthew Martino. John was predeceased by a sister, Mary Nardiello, and a brother, Louis Martino.
