Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Martyn and the family. I have many fond memories of working with Dr. Martyn from 1964 until I retired 15 years ago. He was a great surgeon, and a pleasure to work with. He was professional and generous person with a quiet sense of humor and was well respected by the nursing staff.

Chris, I was very sad to hear of your dad's passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Betty Ann

My thoughts and prayers to Dr. Martyn's family-especially Sue, whom I worked with over the years at PRHC. I was a ward secretary who worked with Dr. John & Sue. Dr. John was always so pleasant and we could always count on him to cheer us up and make us laugh-a very important part of the work day. Two such brilliant and hard working health care providers in one family. Thinking of you...Mary Ellen Barry

Many of us knew Dr. Martyn personally, and some of us know the wonderful legacy he leaves behind with Sue. We are all saddened by this loss, and hope that there is peace for you all eventually.
You are in our thoughts

Dear Gladys and Family:

Our sincere condolences. So many wonderful memories remain for us of my friend, John. He will always be a model of strength and good judgement for me.

Dennis Vince and Family

With fond memories of a kind and friendly neighbor, we send our condolences and love to Dr. Martyn's family -- Gladys, Chris, Susan, Scott, Stephen, grandchildren and loved ones.

I was saddened to learn of the death of Dr. John Martyn, my friend from medical school days - University of Toronto, class of 1954. We called each other "roomy" from the time that we briefly shared accommodation. John was a wonderfully warm friendly man with a great sense of humour. My sincere condolences to Gladys, the children and grandchildren.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

We are so sorry to hear about Mr. Martyn. I'll always remember him as a gentle soul. Our prayers our with all of you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
