Someone once told me in order to check my love walk towards others to read 1 Corinthians 13 as my checklist. When I think of Rev. Mathis, this chapter is so him to a tee. He was not only a hearer of God's Word but also, he truly was a doer. In my 22 years of knowimg him and his family, I've never ever seen him impatient, or unkind, jealous, boastful, or prideful. To the Mathis Family,
Reverend will always be in my heart forever. I'm so grateful for having the priveliage to know such a Great man. Humble he was and so loving, and such a mentor. I will miss him dearly riding to the conventions with cause he wouldn't let me drive. A man of GOD he was he will always be a part of my family.

What the 26th Chapter of Matthews again Rev? It wasn't until yesterday that my ? was answered. Y did Rev. preach from the 26th chapter of Matt. over/over again? He wanted us to be very sure who our savior is and what he did for us. The bread & wine represent the blood Jesus shed for us.
