Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers go to you Janet, and the rest of the Matusiak family. May a flood of happy and cherished memories soothe your souls and help wash away your sadness.

It feels like the end of an era for me. Uncle Johnny was the last of a generation of men who helped shape my world, and will always remind me of my Polish roots from the South Side. He expressed his love for his family in a caring, but outrageously funny way. As a kid (and as an adult) he never failed to get a laugh out of me, and I frequently marveled at what he could get away with. I guess I have to admit, in some ways Uncle Johnny was a role model for me.
I am deeply saddened...

Dear Matusiak Family
Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. My earliest memory of Uncle Johnny was quite literally being a kid in a candy store! I remember him stuffing my pockets with candy (the little bubble gum "gold nuggets" in a draw string bag...and candy cigarettes (what were we thinking!? :) and telling me not to tell my mom and dad...Then, I was (finally) included in a "board meeting" at my own wedding...family weddings will never be the same :) And when I flash...

Deepest sympathy to Janet and all your family. I know your Dad will be greatly missed. You are in my prayers and thoughts.

Uncle John was the life of family parties! He'll be missed, especially at the weddings, and will be remembered always with a smile.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
