Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear of the passing of my friend of over 30 years. I remember my last visit to New Orleans three years ago for Jazz Fest. The first person I saw was Johnny. It seems like only yesterday that we were drinking beers at Sir John's. Johnny was one of the few people that I considered an equal when it came to trivia and minutia. You will be missed, my friend. Baba-booey to you. Rest in Peace.

John, John, John, my dear friend John. You were like a brother to me, a dear close friend, a coworker, a godfather to my son and like a member of the family to my wife and kids. You were always there for us and you will be dearly missed. You lived your life exactly as you saw fit, and managed to touch so many people in so many ways. You were a grizzly bear on the outside, but a teddy bear in your heart. I will think of you often, and will never forget all the times we shared. Watch over us...

The good people in the world always leave to soon. I remember our days in Troop 70, and those fun-filled camping trips to Amite. Great memories! I can't describe the feeling of sorrow that I am experiencing at this moment. You were a true friend, John.

So sorry to hear of your passing. You were a good friend to Harry and me. I'm
sure Harry was there to greet you.

Mr.John we will miss you in the neighborhood.Rest in peace.

Jumpin Johnny,

I have thought of you as an older brother, along w/ your side-kick Bobby. We have had a lot of good laughs, lots of good beer and especially lots of horse racing over the many years.

I'll always remember you w/ Miss Jeanine ordering a Rock and Rye. There are too many things to remember about you buddy. I'll miss you very, very much.

Say hello to my dad, and George for me as ya'll watch the Derby w/ mint julips in your hands, next week.

Johnny "Boudreaux" Maxwell and I met in 1971 and for 40 years I was priviledged to call him a friend.
Sure will miss him and hope that he is in a better place now and will have the best seat in Heaven for the Kentucky Derby with George.

New Year's Eve will never be the same! Thank You for bringing so much joy to my dad and being such a good friend to him. You were a wonderful man and will be greatly missed. My condolences to your family. Love you, Mr. John!
