Not sure what to say?

Sure do Miss you Uncle John.

I worked with John when he was forced to commute to Dulles Airport at United. We had a great time together while he was there. I still have the fly rod that he refinished for me and the train sets he got me interested in all those years ago. My belated condolences to John's entire family..

Ruth,

So sorry to hear of your dad passing. It sounds like he was surrounded by family and love. Take comfort in all of the many fond memories.

Ruth & Sarah,

My deepest sympathy to you both. Your Dad was a great guy. I have many fond memories of him and will keep them close in my heart. I expect when he arrived in heaven, my Dad (who we lost last month) was waiting at the gates to take him golfing!

Love & Prayers

I will never forget the kindness and friendship Mr. Maxwell offered my younger brother Tom when we were children growing up next door on Lewis Drive: the clock they built together, the number 25 sculpture, and of course, the DONUT TREE! He was a very special man indeed. And looking back now, his teriffic sense of humor and infinite patience are qualities I can only hope to aspire to. The legend of the DONUT TREE will live forever...My condolences to his family.

When we were little, Uncle Johnny was always a welcome guest.

Toni, Ruthie & Sarah, my heart aches for you all. John was such a force, such a funny and dynamic man! When I was young, I thought he hung the moon and the stars! Always a smile and always a welcome. He will be missed but his spirit will be with us all. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
