I'll never forget Coach Mayfield from my years at Gonzales in Odessa many years ago.... I can still see him standing there, with a small child on each side of him, holding his index fingers! He was so kind, so patient, and everyone loved him! May you rest in peace, sweet prince

Mr. Mayfield was our PE Coach at Gonzales Elementary in Odessa when I attended in the `60´s. He was a big, kind, ever patient fixture in my school memories. He was quiet but laughed easily. He was fair and fun. All the kids loved him. Rest in peace Coach. God bless your family.

May you rest in peace Mr. Mayfield. Thank you for your service at St. Matthew. You were an awesome man of God and you are greatly appreciated.
