Charles "Chuck" Mazurek is a fond friend of mine who I met when we were attending Carrol College. I never heard him refer to himself as "John". When we met the preferred salutation was Charles. There was a group of us, including Barry Parsons and Bill Sokolich who would often assembled at the "Pub" which had to be the favorite hangout for Carrol Students. Charles was the son of mu Uncle Byron K Butt from Fort Worth, TX and Jane Weaver Butt Mazurek. My mother, Mildred Butt Cooper, from Huntington, WV and Chillicothe, Ohio was his Aunt. The brother in the middle was James H Butt, from Chillicothe, Ohio. James H Butt 11, from Columbia , MO, (deceased) was his First cousin as well as Stephen P Butt, from Chillicothe, Ohio.
