Not sure what to say?

Marybeth, I've lived in Athens since 1976, but still think of Savannah and Wilmington Island as my home. I am sorry to hear of your Dad's passing, but remember him fondly. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.

Marybeth - I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I am just reading it as we buried my mother yesterday (2/5) and am now back in Pembroke. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

I WILL MISS JOHN.... HE WAS MY
MENTOR FOR A LOT OF YEARS...

A GOOD FRIEND...

POKEY

My heart and my prayers are with you.

I have many fond memories of John. He was responsible for my joining Wilmington Island Baptist Church and made me feel so welcome. He was a true man of God. He has touched many lives with his Christian love.
My condolences to the family.

Thankfully I was able to visit with John over Thanksgiving. What a Testimony to God. He will always be remembered by every one who crossed his path! John showed his Love for GOD,his family, his church and anyone in need! John knew my Father Troy L Stanfield through Brown Trucking and RC Motorlines. I can see them together now in Heaven. Sharing stories, laughing, singing the old Gospel hymns.
God! Bless all of you at this time and Grant you the PEACE THAT PASSETH ALL UNDERSTANDING!

Marybeth ~

Your daddy has been on my mind the last several days. Something told me to check the obits today. I'll always remember his friendly smile and good nature. He will be missed. Peace be with you and yours.

Love & blessings ~

i work with the claxton bakery and had many visits with mr. mc call when he was associated with akers motor lines. we shipped a lot of cakes by this truck line and mr. mccall would visit us quite often. we were very sorry to hear of his passing but extend to his family our most sincere sympathy.

I served with John for 10 years at old
Wilmington Island Baptist Church. It
was a privilege to know him and serve with him in our Lord Jesus'
work. We will be reunited in the near future to serve our Lord forever.
