I was barely out of my teens when I started working at FitzGerald and couldn't believe there was actually a real life character like John -- straight out of a Raymond Chandler novel. Doing business in a one-room office exploding with stacks of paper and an ancient Smith-Corona, he was funny, charming, perceptive, glib and a dealer with intensely strong convictions. It didn't take long to see that beneath the crusty, devil-may-care...

I was saddened to hear of John's passing and extend my heartfelt condolences to you as well as John's daugters in law,sisters and brother.
I had the opportunity to work with John at Fitzgerald and Company for many years and enjoyed his passion for actively representing his clients throughout the good and not so good times.
He will be missed by all those his life experiences have touched.
