God bless you John for a job very well done. You touched the lives of so many in a way that reached far beyond the field. My humble thanks for the friendship.

John has a legacy that will extend beyond my own life to that of my son, Lee. Few have ever possessed as big a heart or broad a grin than did "Mac". We will say Kadish for John for years to come.

John was a loving father, great coach and down-deep a gentle soul.m Hodges Heights will not be the same without you. As the Hawaiians would say "Aloha a kamaha'o kaahe'le" (Love and a wonderful journey).
