Dear Aunt Rita and cousins
So, so sorry to learn of Uncle Jack's passing. The basketball team is now complete again. I am sure the brothers are getting Uncle Jack up to speed and have a game set for tomorrow as we say our final goodbyes to Uncle Jack. Our prayers and thoughts go out to you all.
Love Barbara & Joe

Aunt Rita and family... so sorry to hear about your loss of such a special person. Its hard to imagine that all the original McCarthy men are now gone. I rode by about 3 months ago and pointed out your house to my boyfriend. Told him all about the parties in the back yard and what a big family we had. My mom will be attending tomorrow night and on wednesday...she was determined to be there being the oldest McCarthy niece/nephew. You will be in my thoughts and prayers especially this week.

I will always remember your dad as being kind, a little bit quiet, and also a little ornery with a good sense of humor...I knew him through church and Salem City politics...I am sorry for your loss...please give your mom a hug from me (and my mom).

The boys were always very competitive, and when they needed someone to take care of the ball, it went to Jack. Be it politics, the military, sports, or whatever. You could trust Jackie. He was quite a guy. My sympathy to Rita and family. Tony Rhea
