I was very saddened and shocked. My prayers and thoughts go out to all of the family. I worked for Dick when I hired in at Firestone in 1970. I had the privilege of hosting his retirement party in 1990. He was the Thomas Edison of the Engineering Lab. I use to visit with Dick during our annual family visits to Akron-Canton in August.
