Not sure what to say?

Tom,
We were shocked and saddened to hear of your father's sudden death. He must have been a wonderful dad. (Is that where you learned your parenting skills?) Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Jackie, Bob, Margaret & Robert

I am very sorry for your family's loss. My prayers and thoughts are with your family during this very difficult time in your lives.

KATHERINE,
THIS IS DICK PAGEL. WE WERE ON VACATION UNTIL AFTER THE 21ST. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE LOSS OF THIS VERY GOOD FRIEND. AS YOU KNOW, DICK AND I PLAYED TENNIS FOR OVER 20 YEARS. HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY ALL OF US.

DICK PAGEL

I am very sadden to learn of Dick's passing. My condolences and best wishes to his family. My brief encounters with Dick when we were in Automation Controls on the 1st floor were enough for me to generate a clear respect for him.

I am saddened to learn of Dick's passing. Dick was truly the "engineer's engineer" and respected by all. With this loss a chapter in Firestone history ends.

McCarty Family,
Please accept my condolences and respect for the sadness you may feel at this time. Knowing your family for at least 30 years it is clear he was an outstanding and influential man. I hope the loss you feel at this time is tempered by the renewed recognition of his accomplishments.

To Kay, Family, and friends,
We will miss Dick so much, as he made everyone feel a part of his family, especially at Firestone. His enthousiasm for life and everything and everyone he touched was so wonderful. It has been an honour and a privledge to have known him, and his smile and life will always be an inspiration.
God Bless You,
Robin Reid.

I was very saddened and shocked. My prayers and thoughts go out to all of the family. I worked for Dick when I hired in at Firestone in 1970. I had the privilege of hosting his retirement party in 1990. He was the Thomas Edison of the Engineering Lab. I use to visit with Dick during our annual family visits to Akron-Canton in August. I missed him last year because of one of his frequent trips to visit with his children and grand children. He lived a full life. I will ALWAYS remember Dick and...
