Not sure what to say?

Dad,
It's been a year that you've been gone. It seems like you were here just yesterday. I miss you more and more each day. I hate that the girls don't get to have such a cool gadja in their life but I know you'll be alive in our hearts. I can't wait to see you in heaven but until then I'll think of the great memories I have with you. I love you so much dad.
Love,
Your favorite oldest daughter!

Sweet John,

The girls and I had a hard day on December 12th. I'm sure all who loved you did as well. You are irreplaceable in all of our lives. Thank heavans you left us with a lifetime of memories and stories. The little girls will know you, I promise. We miss you more than words can express and love you more everyday!

Ironically, on your heaven date last year (12/12), was when I mailed my last Christmas card to you. & the only message inside said "Peace". Just seemed to fit you.

I will forever miss every phone call I'm no longer able to have with you. But I'll always remember all the fun-filled conversations we had too.

They say to live in the hearts of those left behind is to never die. If that's the case, then I believe your Rebel Yell spirit will remain alive with me for the rest...

Uncle John,
When I think of you I remember all of the fun times we had when me and Tim were growing up!! You and Aunt Noel always meant so much to us! I learned over the years that my dad is my best friend in the whole world so my heart goes out to Lauren and Rachel!! We all had the best of times together you taught me how to ride a bike, Even though I fell into posion ivy, its ok I forgive you for that. Its the little things a person does that makes them be remembered forever!! I also...

My Dearest Uncle John,
I know that you are partying your tail off up there showing Jesus how to play "Wipe Out"! Racing Jesus around the mansion sides on the streets of gold, to see if you can beat Him yet! LOL! Your probably up there trying to tell all your police buddies where the bad guys are, and protecting them as well. Go Guy's! Thanks for the protection!
I told Mom something you said to me, We are family, we have to stick together cause we are all we got.
I miss you...

John, golden boy and a Tejas Legend. You're legacy is surely admirable and follows us all who know you.. and who follow Him. I too, think of you often and speak of your legends to fellow cyclists, in civil respects and wishes to have a great friend, share in good times. I for One, have been inspired to appreciate and respect, greater than before, loved ones as cherished. Many happy blessings.. wellness wishes on your Loved Ones. Ride Silky Trails!

It is so hard to believe it was a year ago that I got the text message that said you had passed away! I was sat there looking at my phone thinking no way that it could possibly be right. We were talking about you the other day at the office and all the many John stories we have!!! John you are still the legend my friend, I don't think anybody will ever take that title from you. I know you are having the time of our life riding in heaven but everyone sure misses you here. Keep your eye...
