Close neighbours on Blantyre Ave. Hadn't seen John for many years but I was aware of his successful career. We were together when we found a click beetle - I think that triggered his interest in entomology. Rest peacefully, old friend.

When I started graduate school at Clemson in 1994, John was one of the key people to help me settle into my new life. He was a mentor that became a colleague that became a friend. I will miss my friend.
