Sorry Lena and family for your lost I remenber when you and John first strarting to date we lived across the road from Johns log cabin ,late at night we would hear rocks hitting his metal roof as we look out it was Lena.True Love never will forget this.

So many wonderful memories of John and our year's at St. Mary's Alaska. I'll always treasure his wonderful humor but mostly his friendship over the many years. May God's peace and love surround you, fill your hearts and strengthen you.

Mac Dee was a wonderful human being, funny, loving, lifelong learner, devoted husband and father and a wild man in his early days in Alaska. He was like family to us. I'll never forget the day in Fairbanks he came over to watch a basketball game and our kids Conor and Meg were bouncing off the walls. I said, "They're not usually like this." And John laughed. Jim and I will always cherish our memories of McD. From St. Mary's to Fairbanks our lives are enriched by John's heart, wit and intelligence. I am always in awe of how John could beat me by hundreds of points in Words with Friends even feeling pain. Our sympathy and prayers are with you Lena.
