My thoughts and prayers go to the McDonald family. There a lot of fond memories and fun times we all have to fall back on in this difficult time. RIP Brother John.

I was shocked to hear about John. Back in the 1970s my family and I stayed with John and his family in Long Beach, Ca. for a couple of weeks. We played cards every night. My family and I were on our way to Maine.
I trust John had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior - being born again. He is happily in heaven then.
I pray all who knew and loved him are born again...then we shall see him again one day in heaven. (See John 3:3).
I, also, pray you seek God's comfort for this...
