Not sure what to say?

I worked for Jack & Dr Ro for 5 years as a housekeeper/nanny from 2001-2006. He was professional yet he was very personable. He respected me & allowed me to do my job my way. His wife Ro, a Dr herself was always kind & appreciated me. Because of their trustworthiness in myself I strived to do my very best for each of them. Including Ryan. A sweet boy at the age of nine when I first started working for them. He & I spent a lot of time together and I miss him. He referred to me as Miss Ginnie....

I knew Jack McGinty while he was at the Medical University of South Carolina, when I worked with his dear wife, Ro Morwessel. Dr. McGinty could always make me laugh with his outrageous sense of humor, and he was a pleasure to work with. He was in possession of a very large presence, and I know he will be sorely missed by family and friends. Tailwinds, Jack.

So sorry to hear of Dr. McGinty's passing. What a terrific Chairman and mentor during residency at MUSC. Our monthly "Scotch Clubs" were legendary and will not be forgotten. I owe much of my professional career to this pioneer.

What a good friend and major contributor Jack was when we were on the AAOS board together.

It's sad to learn of Jack's passing. He was indeed a leader of leaders and it was easy to earn his instant friendship. May his memory live as long as his spirit--forever.

Great man, great surgeon, great friend.

Lanny L. Johnson, M.D.

At the AAOS meeting in Las Vegas that I ended an evening with Jack and Bill MacAusland, who was the AAOS president that year. Jack and Bill decided that we had to go to one more cocktail party and it became my job to boost them over a 6 foot chain-link fence for the short cut...
