I am so saddened to read of John's passing. I became acquainted with him when he was living in Del Mar and I can truly say that he was absolutely the kindest and most interesting man I had the pleasure of working with. I vividly can recall Chico and smile when I recollect John so graciously sharing his writings with me......I was in way over my head and blinded by his brilliance and devotion to his studies.
