Not sure what to say?

We all share in your loss. John was such a pleasant man and so personable. He will surely be missed by all! It's been my pleasure knowing John these past years. My Deepest Sympathy to Jimmy, who will be following in his father's footsteps, doing the auctions now. John told me how Proud he was of you and that he knew you would do a great job. My Deepest Sympathy to John's entire family, Mary Rinnier

We started attending McGrellis Auctions in March of this year. John was very welcoming to us into the "auction community" and remembered our names as he addressed us instantly every time we saw him thereafter. He had a vibrant spirit that will most definitely live on as those who have known him will not forget him. Our sincere condolences to the entire McGrellis family. John will definitely be missed.

Dear McGrellis Family,

We were very saddened to hear of John's passing. Our deepest sympathies to all of you. Your family will be in our prayers at this very difficult time.

I am so saddened to hear of Mr. McGrellis' passing. He was such a nice man. He donated his auction services to our school fundraiser some years back. When our son played for Piedmont, we enjoyed talking to him as he was there to watch his grandson. Couldn't ask for a kinder man. My condolences to his family.

To the McGrellis family from the Ministry of Caring 'family'. Thank you for remembering John's life by caring, as he did, for the poorest among us. May your wonderful memories bring you comfort and may God's love give you peace.

So many memories! John was such an important figure in my father's life. I went for so many visits to the junkyard and the first thing I always wanted to do was visit with the dogs. My father lived his final years in one of the apartments above the mushroom house across from the junkyard. John was so much more than a friend to him. John was always so nice. I am overwhelmed with sadness in hearing the news of his passing. My heart goes out to his family.

Prayers for the entire McGrellis family. I feel honored to have known him and most of the family. He was very professional gentleman and he will be sadly missed.
