Devoted father of John (Connie), Ellen, Daniel (Liz), Jeannine, Thomas (Claudia), and the late Joseph Francis. Proud grandfather of Timothy, Kate, Jessica, Samantha, Charlie McGuire, Heather, Michael and Alexis McGowan. Also survived by his brothers Senator James E. King (FL) (Linda King) and Thomas J. McGuire (Denia). Veteran WWII, U.S. Navy and member of the American Legion, Bay Ridge Post 157. Longtime member of Community Board 10 and former New York State Assembly candidate. Active in many civic, community, fraternal and political organizations as well as in his beloved Our Lady of Angels parish.
