Not sure what to say?

Dear McHale family,
We are very sorry for your loss. Your dad, "uncle Jack" as Judy called him, was a legend in our household. Judy thought he walked on water and spoke of him all the time. She was so proud and loved everything about him: CC, ND, his military service, his faith, loyalty, professionalism, dignity, your mother and all of you.

Legend has it in our household that when your dad heard of the arrival of his first niece on 07/04/41 while playing in a game, he stepped up...

Dear McHale Family:
I was saddened to hear of my great uncle's passing. I was unable to attend the service but was happy to know my dad and brother, Greg Schwartz and Joe Schwartz, could be there.

Your dad had a tremendous impact on my mom's (Judy Schwartz) life. First, there was the homerun he hit on her day of birth, July 4th, 1941. Then there was the many kind acts such as taking her on a west coast road trip with the Braves when she was only 20. Also, the many times he got...

I would like to express my sympathy to the McHale family,at your loss and assure you of my prayers for John and for you as you are experiencing this sorrow.

Dear McHale Family,

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss and extend my deepest sympathies. My heart and prayers go out to all of you. God Bless...

Dear Kammy,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I knew him through the love for him you always spoke of. My sincere condolences. Shirley Foley

To all the McHales:

It was with a heavy heart indeed that we read of your Dad's passing. What a full life he and Patty had together. We know that you all will have nothing but pleasant memories......and what great stories.

We will always remember our Hidden Key former neighbors, the wonderful wedding we attended in New York state, and how your Dad and Mom welcomed us with open arms in Montreal and took us to the stadium to stand on the pitcher's mound in freezing...

Kevin and the entire Mchale Family...

I am happy to say that I knew your Dad.

As a young architect, I had the pleasure of working with John, Patty and Kevin on the renovations to the Municipal Stadium facility, when the Expos made West Palm Beach their spring training home in the early 1980's... what a wonderful experience.

Your Dad was an honest, sincere, good man. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

The McHale Family,

Our sincere condolences go out to you in the loss of a great man. John McHale was an honest man and a class act to all who passed thru the Montreal Expos Organization. He got me started in broadcasting and I'll always be thankful for his confidence in me.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your father-he was a great man in many ways
