Not sure what to say?

Our sympathies to Uncle John's family. I'm sure there's a heck of a family reunion going on in heaven this week. May he rest in peace, and may you have peace in the days to come.

My condolences to Johnny, Vicky, Adam and all of Uncle John's family on his passing.
My funniest memories of Uncle John were the times he came to visit us in New York. He liked to rock in the rocking chair while talking to my father (Robert) and each time he would rock so much that he would end up about five inches from my father's chair. My father would finally notice and say "@#$%^$#, are you trying to sit on my lap, John?" lol. Those two never ran out of things to talk about. I also...

Hi, McIntosh Family, Just came back from a VERY lovely funeral service. We were warmed up by Adams' chicken soup, and especially his precious words about Johns' life. For those not there; you should ask Adam for a briefing. It was like I could get to know Uncle John a little more. We sure will miss Him. He sure had a way about himself to warrant attention to "listen up." .....and you would NOT be disappointed. It was usually a unique since of humor. Well, family, and friends, I join...

Our sympathy to Johnnie and family. I have many special memories of Uncle John. He was such a character- truly one of a kind.
I wish I could be there to give the last McIntosh sibling a fond farewell but Sarah is home from school sick and not up to flying.
My thoughts are with you.

John was one of the gang that hung out in my Dad's ( Ralph Marggraf)auto repair garage at 1710 Arlington Avenue. They played baseball in the alley next to the garage. They also went fishing with him in the Tiffin, Ohio area where my Dad grew up. Happy to hear that he had a long and happpy life. Eileen Marggraf Kobee

I could write stories about my grandfather until I ran out of space. Simply I was blessed to have him in my life and be an example of how serve others and take care of my family. He may be gone but his lessons will live on with us all. Till the end he maintained his sense of humor, telling jokes and giving the nurses aides hell. He went peacefully and quietly. I guess there's a first time for everything. Grampa I love and will miss you.
