John Thomas McIntosh, Jr. "Uncle John" was born on April 12, 1946 in New Orleans, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the age of 72. John's early education was received at St. Paul's Lutheran school where he was taught and grew to love the Bible and Christian principles. For many years he was a very dedicated and loyal active participant in various work training ARC of Greater New Orleans programs. Son of the late John Thomas McIntosh Sr. and Hazel Toussaint McIntosh. Loving and Devoted Sister, Barbara M. Stewart. Uncle of Yolanda Smith and Charlene Smith (Ben). Great-Uncle of Yasmin Matthews and Justice Smith. Family, friends, caregivers and members of Arc of Greater New Orleans are invited to attend the Visitation on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home, 2120 Jackson Avenue, N.O., LA 70113 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Followed by his Homegoing Service at 11:00 am. Interment Providence Memorial Park, 8200 Airline Hwy Drive, Metairie, LA 70003.
