Not sure what to say?

Mr. McKay wassuch a good influence on so many lives both in his words and his music. I have loved to listen to his beautiful voice for so many years prior to and beyond his death. I was never priveledged to meet Pastor McKay, but I most certainly appreciated his music.

I hardly know where to start when talking about John McKay. He lived next to us in Culpeper and as my father was a minister also he and John were good friends. His mother Annie was living with him at that time and was one of the sweetest women on earth.
John was never without a smile or a joke was a joy to be around. My deepest sympathies to his family. John you will be missed.

I knew John well in Thomas Dale High School We graduated in the same class of 1946 and always looked forward to seeing him at the reunions. He was a fine Christian friend.

Very sad to hear of John's passing, but happy he is with Jesus. My sincere sympothy to his family, may The Lord keep and bless you through this difficult time.

Our condolences to the family of Dr. John H. McKay. His life was a fine example of devoted service to others. In particular we wish to extend our love and support to our dear friends Dr. McKay's son, John ,and his wife Gretchen. Our prayers are with you at this time of memories and tribute for your loved one.

Marcel and Lee Dursin, Wakefield, R.I.

Remembering John McKay very well as I am also a member of the 1946 Thomas Dale Graduating class. John was never without a smile which to this day I remember so well. He added a special something to our class. It is most rewarding to read that he contributed so much of himself in the interest of others.
