We were tremendously saddened by John's passing. Although it has been many years since I worked with John, I have fond memories of his smile, our Albion connection and his kindness toward me. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.

I was so sorry to hear of John's passing having been a classmate and fellow member of the Albion College debate team. I truly enjoyed his wit and sharp mind. When he was just a freshman, he and his debate partner Bob Gamage finished 16th in the nation, no small achievement for a small liberal arts college in southern Michigan.
