Seeing Fr. John’s obit brought back a flood of memories and tears. Charles Street, Patton Street, Aunt Margaret & Uncle John, Sonny (as Fr. John was known), Jim (Fr. James), Frank & Tommy. I can’t forget Aunt Nelly, Tom the Butcher, Cis, & Thomas. Also, the entire Moran family, Aggie, Ginny, Marian, Phyllis, too many to list. Aunt Margaret & Uncle John were always so generous & welcoming.

I was blessed to not only have Fr. John as a cousin but as my Godfather, also. I remember...
