Not sure what to say?

John: I am thankful to have known you. You are truly a great guy. I pray you are doing well in heaven. Blessings, Carl

Danny O´D and I were just sharing last night what a great guy John McKenna was/is. We miss him but know he is in a good place.

This is a text I sent to John before he passed: John, when I think of nice guys, you come to mind; when I think of good husbands, you come to mind; when I think of loving and supportive fathers, you come to mind; when I think of people who have made a positive difference in their lives, you come to mind. As a wise person once said, we don't control our birth nor when we leave this world, but we do control how we affect our families, friends and communities while we are here. On that...

John, you will never be forgotten. You have had such a positive influence on all of us and we will continue to do our best to enjoy every day by following your example.

I was very sorry to read of John's untimely passing. He was a bright and talented student of mine at Saint Anselm College; although I had lost touch with him over the years, his success in life and his wonderful, kind, and charitable deeds are not surprising given his deep faith and his God-given gifts. I will remember him and the family in my prayers. Requiescat in pace.

Our deepest sympathies to Lois and Jim and the whole McKenna family. You are all in our thoughts.

Our deepest and heartfelt sympathy for Meg, Jack, Molly, Claire, and Charlie as John departs for the warm embrace of the Lord. A special prayer for Polly, Ross, Lois, and Jim from our mother Dolores. May you find the peace and comfort of our Lord Jesus.

Single Memorial Tree

We are deeply saddened to hear of John´s passing. We will keep the family in our prayers. May God place his loving arms around the family during this most difficult time.
